Weekend breakfast service (typically 6:30 AM - 11:00 PM) Job Overview The Weekend Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing a warm, welcoming start to guests' days by setting up, serving, and maintaining the hotel's breakfast buffet. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Key Duties & Responsibilities Setup & Service:
Prepare and arrange the breakfast buffet area before guests arrive; serve food and beverages (coffee, tea, cereals, pastries, hot dishes) promptly and accurately
Guest Service:
Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner; answer questions about menu items; accommodate special dietary requests
Food & Beverage Management:
Stock and replenish food, drinks, tableware, and condiments during service; monitor inventory and report shortages
Cleanliness & Organization:
Keep the breakfast area, tables, and equipment clean and hygienic; remove dirty dishes and trash; store leftovers properly JobDescription.org +1 .
Food Safety:
Follow all health and safety guidelines for food handling, storage, and preparation
End-of-Shift Tasks:
Break down the buffet area, clean and sanitize equipment, and prepare for the next day's service Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant work is ideal Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work weekends and holidays Comfort with handling food, beverages, and cash/credit transactions Punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude Typical Work Environment Weekend breakfast service in a hotel dining area or buffet room Fast-paced, guest-facing environment with multiple tasks throughout the day Requires standing for extended periods and lifting light equipment
Pay:
$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
