Weekend Cashier, Need Saturday and Sunday availability. Come and join an amazing team of hardworking Baristas at a small NH town Cafe; where our regulars are like family About the Cafe We are located just off of Rt. 89 in the center hub of Warner NH. We bring espresso, tea, breakfast, and scratch-made pastries to the town. We frequently involve ourselves in local community events such as Maple Weekend, Fall Foliage Festival, the Kearsage Klassic Bike Race, Halloween Pumpkin Carving, and other events where we see a large increase in foot-traffic. About the Position We are looking for 1 part-time addition to our small team to handle customer service and other tasks as assigned. This position requires weekend availability, with occasional weekdays if availability allows, between 16 to 34 hours per week. We are a very team-oriented group that depends on each other to accomplish daily tasks while still maintaining an excellent experience for our customers. Throughout the shift team members interact with customers, take orders for drinks, food and pastry requests, keep the barista and customer areas clean and tidy and assist each other with light food preparation for our breakfast menu. This is a collaborative working environment; our baristas depend on each other to be successful. Owners of the cafe are on site regularly to support the team. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to handle sharp utensils appropriately Required Experience Prior relatable experience is a plus ; however, the following types of experience is preferred. Barista Experience Food Service Experience Compensation Information Expected Pay is $14.00 - $15.50 base hourly. This is a position that can be eligible for tip share, which is an employee run system based upon performance/contribution to the team. Preferred Requirements 18 years or older is preferred
