Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator for CNA Baylor shifts to join our healthcare staffing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of staffing processes within a healthcare environment. This role involves coordinating nursing assistant schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. As a Staffing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical teams by facilitating efficient staffing operations and fostering positive relationships with staff members. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage CNA Baylor shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage across all units. Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess staffing needs based on patient census and acuity levels. Utilize staffing software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Workday, UltiPro, or iCIMS to track schedules, availability, and credentials. Conduct interviews and evaluate potential candidates through HR sourcing techniques, including cold calling and social media outreach. Maintain accurate records of employee hours, contracts, and certifications using HRIS platforms like PeopleSoft or Kronos. Facilitate onboarding processes including employee orientation, training & development, and contract management. Manage employee relations by addressing scheduling conflicts, performance concerns, and fostering engagement. Ensure compliance with employment & labor law regulations while supporting internal recruiting initiatives for CNA positions. Develop relationships with staff through relationship management strategies to promote retention and job satisfaction. Support succession planning efforts by identifying high-potential candidates for future roles within the organization. Requirements Proven experience in technical recruiting, HR sourcing, or healthcare staffing coordination. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, contracts, and employee evaluation processes. Familiarity with staffing software such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, or Taleo; experience with HRIS systems like Kronos or UltiPro is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with candidates and staff. Experience in talent management, employee orientation, and training & development programs. Ability to conduct thorough research on potential candidates via social media management tools and lead generation techniques. Knowledge of recruiting platforms such as Salesforce or iCIMS to streamline hiring workflows. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules, contracts, and compliance documentation. Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
