Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime Available) Overview We are hiring an experienced MIG / Flux-Core Welder to support the fabrication of pressure vessels using stainless and carbon steel . This role requires strong blueprint reading and multi-position welding skills , with the opportunity to expand into TIG welding . Key Responsibilities Perform MIG and flux-core welding on stainless and carbon steel Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols Weld in all positions on materials from 1/4" to 3/4" Assist with fabrication, assembly, and quality checks Maintain safety and production standards Qualifications 3+ years of MIG/Flux welding experience or welding certification Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Experience with multi-position welding Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment Why Join ✅ Union role - Local 473 Ironworkers ✅ Steady 1st shift + overtime opportunities ✅ Hands-on work with a skilled, tight-knit team ✅ Opportunity to expand your welding skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverdale, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
