code requirements at all times. Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in all positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead. Measure and mark parts using tape measures, straightedges, rulers, and other layout tools to ensure correct dimensions and fit-up. Perform torch cutting, plasma cutting, grinding, and air arc gouging as required for fabrication and repair work. Maintain a strong focus on welding safety and support a risk-free work environment by following all safety procedures and guidelines. Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and jib cranes, including correct rigging applications for lifting and moving materials. Keep the work area, tools, and welding equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition on a daily basis. Communicate openly and effectively with co-workers and leadership to coordinate work, resolve issues, and support production goals. Successfully complete and maintain the standards required by a pre-employment welding test and ongoing quality expectations. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED. At least five (5) years of welding experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medina, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
