Job Title:

Welder Responsibilities Perform TIG and MIG welding on components according to engineering drawings and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and written work instructions to determine welding requirements. Set up welding equipment and adjusting machine parameters. Prepare materials by cleaning, fitting, and aligning parts prior to welding to ensure proper joint fit-up. Apply proper welding techniques to control heat input, minimize warping, and maintain dimensional accuracy of parts. Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and appearance, making adjustments as needed to meet specifications. Essential Skills At least 2 years of TIG and MIG welding experience, including experience welding stainless steel. Strong blueprint reading skills, including interpretation of weld symbols and fabrication details. Experience preparing materials for welding, including cleaning, fitting, and aligning parts. Basic grinding and finishing skills related to welded parts. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required by the job. Why Work Here?
