In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding operations on a variety of metal components, ensuring adherence to safety standards, technical specifications, and quality benchmarks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex construction and manufacturing projects, utilizing your expertise in welding techniques and mechanical knowledge to produce durable, high-quality assemblies. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding following detailed blueprints and schematics. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to execute accurate welds. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to prepare materials for welding. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols. Collaborate with team members on assembly, rigging, and mechanical tasks to complete projects efficiently. Requirements Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, ASME codes & standards related to welding practices.. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and tolerances essential for precise fabrication. Certification or demonstrated experience in MIG welding; familiarity with TIG welding is a plus. Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites including crane operation support and forklift handling. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
