Welder/Fabricator

Overview We are a small shop seeking a skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components to meet project specifications and safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation custom projects, repairs and custom metal assemblies. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication and assembly. Perform MIG, stick 7018/6010 and spool gun aluminum Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment for cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal and other materials. Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely to move heavy materials or assembled components on-site or in the shop. Fabricate structural components, and custom metal parts for construction or manufacturing projects. Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or in fabrication areas; maintain a clean and organized workspace. Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments involving welding and fabrication tasks. Proficiency in MIG and stick welding Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters Basic math skills including measurements with a tape measure ; ability to perform calculations necessary for fabrication accuracy. Experience working with sheet metal fabrication is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
