Waukegan, IL Job Summary Seeking an experienced machine welder supervisor to lead welding and machine operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising production employees, ensuring quality standards are met, maintaining workflow efficiency, and supporting safety initiatives throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily activities of welders and machine operators Monitor production schedules and ensure deadlines are met Train, coach, and support production team members Ensure welding quality and compliance with company standards Troubleshoot equipment and production issues as needed Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures Coordinate with management on staffing, production goals, and process improvements Conduct inspections and maintain accurate production records Qualifications Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or welding environment required Strong knowledge of MIG welding and machine operations Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience with quality control and production processes Forklift experience is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift Comfortable working in a manufacturing facility environment Schedule & Pay Full-time position Overtime may be required based on production needs. Pay based on experience and qualifications

Pay:

$29.02 - $30.76 per hour
