Job Description

WELLNESS CLINIC ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN
(FULL
OR PART-TIME
) We are seeking compassionate Veterinarians who believe that every pet deserves access to quality medical care, regardless of their family's financial circumstances. This is an opportunity to practice medicine with purpose — to make a tangible difference in the lives of animals and the people who love them every single day. In this role, you will serve a diverse community of pet owners, including some who might otherwise go without veterinary care. You'll practice practical, high-quality medicine in a supportive environment that values empathy, teamwork, and respect for both patients and clients. Our clinic is built on the belief that financial limitations should never stand between an animal and quality, compassionate care. We are committed to maintaining high standards of medicine while expanding access to those who need it. If you are a veterinarian who wants your work to matter — not just clinically, but humanely and socially — we would be honored to have you join our team. You will be supported by an experienced, highly skilled team of veterinary technicians who enable you to focus on practicing high-quality medicine.
ABOUT US
Faithful Friends Animal Society is a comprehensive, nonprofit animal welfare organization that serves 18,000 pets and 24,000 people a year through programs and services that focus on the most vulnerable. For 25 years, Faithful Friends has led reforms in animal welfare that have become the building blocks for a comprehensive, humane animal welfare system in Delaware. The number of pets and people we serve each year continues to increase as the demand for our services continues to grow. We have moved to our new home in New Castle, Delaware on a 27-acre property, complete with walking trails and gardens. We also have a new mobile clinic for wellness/sick appointments as well as spay/neuter surgeries. The Faithful Friends shelter clinic and mobile clinic provide preventative medicine, basic sick care, and various surgeries and dentals to owned pets and to community cats. We are in search of a PART-TIME or
