Job Description
The Wellness Director is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the health and wellness services for residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This role ensures residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care while maintaining compliance with all state regulations and company policies. The Wellness Director collaborates with residents, families, caregivers, physicians, and leadership to promote resident well-being and support individualized care plans. This position requires strong clinical skills, leadership ability, and a commitment to enhancing quality of life for seniors. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee resident health services for Assisted Living and Memory Care Administer and supervise medication management in accordance with state regulations Monitor resident health status and communicate changes to physicians and families Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans Supervise, train, and support caregiving staff Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and community policies and procedures Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records Participate in resident assessments, wellness checks, and interdisciplinary meetings Promote a safe, supportive, and dignity-centered care environment Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)required Experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or long-term care preferred Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Knowledge of medication administration, wellness assessments, and care coordination Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare providers Must meet all state background, licensing, and regulatory requirements
