Wetland Delineator

Virginia Waters & Wetlands, Inc. (VW&W) is seeking a motivated Wetland Delineator / Environmental Scientist to join our growing team in Northern Virginia. This position involves a combination of wetland and stream delineations, permitting support, environmental compliance inspections, restoration projects, and field data collection throughout the region. We are looking for someone who enjoys field work, works well independently, and is interested in long-term growth within the environmental consulting industry. Responsibilities Conduct wetland and stream delineations in accordance with the 1987 Corps Manual and applicable Regional Supplements Prepare field maps, data sheets, and delineation reports Assist with permitting efforts including: Virginia Water Protection (VWP) permits USACE permitting Local environmental compliance Perform stream assessments and restoration monitoring Utilize GPS/GIS equipment for field mapping and data collection Coordinate with project managers, agencies, and clients Assist with erosion and sediment control inspections and environmental compliance projects as needed Work in a variety of terrain and weather conditions Preferred Qualifications Virginia Wetland Delineators Certification

DEQ VSWD
