You will be part of a small team supporting our natural resource permitting and construction compliance projects. As a Wetland Scientist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including wetland delineation, construction site inspections, project reporting, permitting assistance, and Conservation Commission meeting attendance. • Prepare written reports using technical writing In a nutshell, we're looking for someone who can deliver the work with little supervision, pays attention to the details, knows when to ask for help, and is a natural at taking care of the client.

If this sounds like a fit, keep reading. Specific Experience Requirements As an Wetland Scientist, you'll need a background in this kind of work. While we can teach some of the finer details, you'll need to:

• Perform wetland delineations and wetland permitting (NOI, 401/404, etc.).
• Perform construction inspection and reporting.
• Represent projects and clients at Conservation Commission hearings.
• Interact with clients and contractors as directed by your Team Leader.
• Be able to work in a variety of field conditions that involve working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrain, at times for several consecutive hours. Qualifications To be considered for this role, we'd prefer you have:
• A bachelor's degree in environmental science or a similar discipline.
• Experience with soils and plants of New England
• Ability to read and interpret site plans.
• Experience and knowledge of state and local wetland regulations.
• Experience working with contractors.
• GIS experience.
• Experience preparing reports using technical writing.

Benefits As a Wetland Scientist, we offer a competitive salary of $55,000 to $70,000 per year, based on experience.
