Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
Able to prepare all coating solutions. Able to calculate mix to meet quality and quantity requirements. Able to test coating to ensure quality (pH and Solids). Able to operate mixing equipment, pumps, and filters. Able to monitor waste water system, including pumps and effluent filters. Able to take inventories and samples as needed. Able to communicate to the Inventory Control Coordinator. Able to unload raw materials for coater, which includes emptying tankers. Able to handle and transport Ammonia •(Must be Certified)•. Able to obtain and maintain respirator certification. Able to operate the in-line dye system. Able to operate and monitor automatic batch system for coater. Able to operate PC per coating prep requirements. Able to clean tanks and lines during cleanup. Able to assist on thread-ups, web breaks, and start-ups. Able to assist the Coater Assistant Operator with unloading trailers, and bringing up rolls. Able to assist Engineers with EMOs. Able to make changeovers as schedule requires. Able to fill colors and clean filter on the in-line dye system Able to change out totes of various products Able to operate small scale to weigh solutions for EMO's Able to communicate any machine functions, computer operation, maintenance, quality, or scheduling problems. Able to operate overhead hoist, Bell hoist and complete daily inspections. Able to operate tow motor, clamp trucks and complete daily inspections. Able to use the scanners and understand its purpose. Able to perform miscellaneous duties as assigned or required by supervision. Able to perform daily housekeeping (sweep and empty garbage cans towards end of shift). Able to create workorders if repairs are needed on equipment or on NCP property. Able to follow and abide by all safety rules and practices. Know and understand how to complete E-Stop and Interlock monthly checks. Know, follow and abide by all documented procedures. Willing and able to work shift work.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
