Roadside Technician

Join our dynamic team as a Roadside Technician, where you'll be the frontline hero providing essential support to motorists in need. This energetic role involves diagnosing vehicle issues on the spot, performing quick repairs, and ensuring drivers get back on the road safely and swiftly. Your mechanical expertise and hands-on skills will make a real difference for our customers every day! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical abilities while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. We cover a 40-80+ mile radius. Compensation is based on a per-call and mileage-driven structure. The more you work, the higher your earnings will be. Please note that this is a 1099 position. Our company is very family-friendly and offers holidays off or bonuses for working. Ride alongs are welcome, as long as they remain safe and professional on-site. Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls and arrive equipped to assess vehicle problems efficiently Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform repairs such as tire changes, fuel deliveries, battery jumps, lockouts, battery replacements, and fluid top-ups Maintain detailed records of service performed, parts used, and vehicle condition for each job Ensure safety protocols are followed during all repair activities and roadside interactions Communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures and estimated timeframes to enhance their experience Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot common vehicle issues effectively is preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Experience with basic vehicle maintenance tasks and repairs is preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques Your own vehicle with a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a drug test.
