Serves as an incident commander on fires with low incident complexity. Develops and implements tactics based on incident objectives, fire behavior, weher forecast, and risk assessment. Participes in prescribed burns to reduce hazardous fuels and/or to support the health of the forest ecosystem. Maintains records and reports including individual fire reports, fire resource orders, and incident action records. Assisted in ghering, processing, analyzing fire risks, hazards and values needed to prepare prevention plans; Performed initial tack on fires and serving as an incident commander or implementing prescribed burn plans Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through Nional Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizions (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience th transles directly to paid employment.
