Job Description

Windchill Administrator/Developer Introduction:
The Windchill Administrator/Developer will be responsible for the administration and deployment of the PTC Windchill platform across multiple environments. This role will also involve operating system tasks on Linux, such as service operations, file management, troubleshooting, and log review. The successful candidate will work with CICD and Release Tooling, participate in regulated operations, and ensure compliance with quality and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform Windchill administrative tasks, including configuration updates, application lifecycle operations, and environment validation. Prepare environments for releases, validate deployment readiness, and perform post-deployment verification activities. Participate in Agile scrum ceremonies to align deployment work with sprint commitments. Manage deployment-related work items, defects, and release tasks in Jira. Execute Linux-based deployment and administration activities, including file management, service operations, and troubleshooting. Monitor deployments for issues, take corrective action, and support rollback execution and production issue resolution. Ensure compliance with deployment methodologies, release controls, and change management standards. Maintain and improve deployment documentation, runbooks, and operational checklists. Proactively identify deployment risks, inefficiencies, or gaps and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience:
3-5 years of relevant professional experience, including hands-on Windchill administration and deployment activities. 3-5 years of Linux experience. Formal training or certifications related to Windchill, Linux, and release management. Strong familiarity with Jenkins and deployment pipelines. Experience supporting business critical platforms in regulated environments (MedTech, healthcare, life sciences, or manufacturing preferred).
