Responsibilities Engage with customers to identify their needs for windows, walls, and renovation projects, providing expert guidance on product options. Conduct product demonstrations and explain features such as energy efficiency, durability, and design options to inspire customer confidence. Utilize tools like SketchUp and CAD software to assist customers with layout design, visualizing potential upgrades within their spaces. Negotiate pricing, upsell complementary products such as lighting or remodeling accessories, and close sales effectively while maintaining excellent customer service. Manage inside and outside sales activities, including account management for repeat clients and new customer acquisition efforts. Assist with merchandising displays, stock management, and maintaining organized product presentations to optimize the shopping experience. Support marketing initiatives by promoting new products or seasonal promotions to boost sales volume. Skills Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or high-end sales environments with a focus on home improvement or renovation products. Strong proficiency in SketchUp, CAD, lighting design software, and layout design tools to assist customers with project planning. Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to upsell additional products or services confidently. Knowledge of construction, remodeling, interior design, and maintenance practices relevant to windows and walls projects. Multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Exceptional communication skills for engaging customers both in person and via inside sales channels; fluency in English is required. Organizational skills for managing stock levels, POS transactions, cash handling, and account management tasks efficiently. Familiarity with retail math concepts such as merchandising calculations and basic math skills for accurate quoting and pricing. Ability to deliver product demos confidently while demonstrating excellent customer service standards across all interactions.
