Windshield Materials Test and QA Specialist

Your mission Safeguard the performance and safety of every windshield we produce through rigorous lab testing, clear reporting, and unwavering attention to detail. Core responsibilities Collect and cut windshield samples to prepare precise test specimens.

Execute testing protocols:

body glass fragmentation, distortion, moisture, pummel, light transmission, boil, ball drop, opacity, and robustness testing as needed. Validate corrective actions with follow-up tests on any non-compliant product. Monitor and test the water softener system for each windshield line. Perform additional testing for European and Asian market parts and ensure alignment with applicable standards. Maintain complete test logs/results/data and generate reports for internal and external use. What you'll need to succeed 1+ years of related lab-based testing experience (glass industry preferred but not required). Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills (Word & Excel). Comfort working independently with limited direction. Ability to read/execute test specifications and understand tempered glass and windshield standards. Demonstrated troubleshooting and quality control experience.
