RESPONSIBILITIESManufacture an array of goods using wood, veneers, and laminatesDesign, produce and test wood productsUnderstand and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, schematics, etc.

Use hand tools to build furniture and operate woodworking machineryMay operate CNC machinesCut, shape, and smooth wooden piecesUse a caliper or ruler to verify specified dimensionsUse a sander or sandpaper to smooth productsJoin pieces to create a complete unit by adding fasteners and adhesivesProduce wooden accents and trimInspect products for quality or damages and make adjustments when neededRepair and fix productsComply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
