Job Description

Company Description Outdoors for Youth (OFY) is a Gospel-centered outdoor adventure program for teens based in eastern Idaho, designed to combine immersive outdoor experiences with leadership development and spiritual growth. Through activities like high ropes courses, white water rafting, and team-based challenges, participants learn resilience, confidence, and teamwork in a hands-on environment. Central to the program is the teaching of doctrine and principles from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, incorporated through daily devotionals, scripture study, and meaningful discussions. OFY's mission is to create impactful experiences that strengthen testimonies of Jesus Christ while helping youth grow as leaders and individuals. Role Description We're hiring a Crew Lead to help oversee our outdoor facilities and lead a small rotating crew. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on organizing work, managing people, and keeping projects moving in an outdoor environment. If you enjoy working outside, leading teams, and taking ownership of projects, this is a great opportunity to build real-world leadership and operations experience. What You'll Do Oversee maintenance and upkeep of facilities, grounds, and equipment Lead and manage a rotating crew of rotating counselors Assign tasks, set expectations, and ensure work is completed effectively Plan schedules and manage daily workflow Help maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment Schedule 20-40 hours per week (flexible) Required availability on Wednesdays and Fridays What We're Looking For Strong leadership and people management skills Organized, reliable, and able to manage time effectively Comfortable working outdoors in a hands-on setting Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through Experience with tools or maintenance work is helpful, but not required Preferred first aid and CPR training Required Driver's Licences Perks & Opportunities Hourly pay starting at $12 (DOE) Optional housing and meals provided during work Opportunity to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Can be structured as an internship Valuable hands-on leadership and operations experience If you're someone who can lead a team, stay organized, and get things done—we'd love to hear from you.
