Job description McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, P.A. (MVP Law) is looking for an attorney to join one of our dynamic Missouri/Illinois locations to practice primarily in Illinois workers' compensation defense and help us meet the needs of our growing practice. With a physical office space in St. Louis, Missouri and Springfield, Illinois, accompanied by the technology and tools to maintain a remote practice, this position offers attorneys the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. We are looking for curious, intelligent, and creative attorneys to join our firm and be part of our fast-paced and rewarding environment as we continue to redefine the law firm experience and forge our own path to the meet the needs of our clients and employees, as we have been doing since 1901. While we are seeking an attorney for a traditional associate position, alternative work arrangement options can be considered including, full-time attorney, part-time attorney, or of counsel. Duties/Responsibilities Manage a workers' compensation defense caseload with independence Successfully try cases, conduct depositions and mediations Effectively establish, build, and maintain relationships with all assigned clients Participate in marketing and business development opportunities within the firm Engage in a collaborative team atmosphere Utilize available technology to manage clients effectively and efficiently within a paperless work environment With a strong focus on our beliefs - RESPECT
