Job Description

Job Summary:
Reinhardt | Harper | Davis, PLC is seeking a full-time paralegal/legal assistant to handle a worker's compensation caseload. This position will provide assistance to attorneys who handle a high volume of cases and be responsible for all stages from preparation, management, and through resolution of workers' compensation claims.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle High volume of incoming and outgoing calls, mail, emails, and other communications and appropriately resolves questions in a knowledgeable and efficient manner. Maintain frequent and fluid contact with clients. Gather and review client information, information on workplace injury, and medical treatment/providers. Request and review medical records related to the case. Assist paralegal team with maintaining attorney calendar, including initiating contact with and scheduling meetings client, opposing counsel, medical providers and court personnel. Prepare and maintain efficient and organized case records, including documents, drafts, pleadings; providing notes and summarizations on matters with quick deadlines. Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documents. Follow all firm guidelines and procedures; work with minimal supervision; and maintain client confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred. Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in workers' compensation law. Proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Office Suite), and case management systems. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in Spanish preferred, but not required.
