Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dry Utility Working Foreman to lead and oversee the installation of underground utility conduit. This role involves coordinating a crew, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent customer service and communication skills and have extensive construction site experience, with a thorough understanding of dry utility infrastructure including excavation, and blueprints reading. Responsibilities Lead and supervise dry utility installation crews on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications. Coordinate and communicate with project managers, superintendents, and other subcontractors. Read and interpret blueprints, and construction drawings to accurately execute utility layouts. Work directly with utility companies. (SRP, APS, TEP, COX, LUMEN, SWG, etc.) Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure efficient resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct quality control inspections and ensuring all work complies with OSHA regulations and industry standards. Ordering of materials such as and conduit, for assigned jobs. Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, change orders, and safety. Skills 3-5 years experience in construction supervision with a focus on dry utility projects involving underground infrastructure. Proven supervising experience leading teams on commercial and residential utility construction sites. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading Proficient using a computer or willing to learn Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and ability to enforce safety protocols on-site. Skilled in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control processes. Ability to operate excavation equipment. Must possess a valid drivers license. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English sufficient to perform job duties safely and effectively. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Some instate travel will be required. Per-Diem and comfortable accommodations are always provided in advance. The successful candidate will be issued a company truck, fuel card and provided cell phone reimbursement.
