Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Assistant Superintendent or Construction Foreman to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

Manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, and resource allocation.

Team Leadership:

Supervise, work with and mentor construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel on-site, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Quality Control:

Ensure that all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations and building codes.

Problem Solving:

Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the construction process, maintaining project timelines and goals.

Site Management:

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor, air pressure, site progress and compliance with project plans and safety protocols.

Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact between project manager, clients, and architects, providing regular updates on project status.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate daily records of project progress, change orders, and safety meetings.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or Assistant Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements. Reliable vehicle Drivers license Ability to travel and stay onsite for duration of a project

Education:

Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, MSHA, PMP) are a plus.
