We are looking for someone who is comfortable with various styles of worship music. We do anything from Gospel to a more chill, stripped back set. This role is vital in cultivating an atmosphere of authentic praise, fostering spiritual growth, and encouraging community engagement. The Worship Director will work directly with the Worship Pastor and Music Director in planning, coordination, and execution of all worship services, ensuring that music and creative elements align with our church's vision and mission. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence lives through music, mentorship, and leadership while creating a welcoming environment for all attendees. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of weekly worship services, including song selection, rehearsals, and live worship sets. Recruit, train, and mentor musicians, vocalists, and technical team members to foster their growth and ensure high-quality worship experiences Collaborate with pastors and ministry leaders to integrate worship seamlessly into sermon series, events, and special services Cultivate a spirit of teamwork by encouraging open communication and shared vision among the worship team Provide spiritual leadership by teaching on worship principles and mentoring team members in their personal faith journeys Maintain a positive environment that promotes creativity and excellence across all worship services. Requirements Proven experience leading worship teams in a church or faith-based setting with demonstrated musical proficiency Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members of diverse backgrounds Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, volunteers, and congregation members Ability to teach worship concepts clearly while fostering spiritual growth among team members Experience mentoring musicians and vocalists to improve their skills and confidence A vibrant personal faith commitment aligned with the church's values and mission This paid position offers an exciting platform at a gorwing church who embraces diversity and the kingdom of God.
