Worship Leader (Contemporary Service - Part-Time) Our Saviour s Lutheran Church is seeking a passionate and skilled Worship Leader to plan, prepare, and lead a weekly contemporary Sunday morning worship service. This role is focused on creating meaningful, authentic worship experiences that engage a multi-generational congregation while clearly proclaiming the uncompromised message of the Gospel. Qualifications A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and an active, growing relationship with Him Experience planning, preparing, and leading worship services A genuine heart for leading people in worship-not just leading a service Agreement with our church s beliefs and doctrines (https://www.oursaviourschurch.org/what-we-believe/) Abilities Strong vocal and instrumental leadership skills Proficiency in at least one primary instrument (e.g., guitar or keyboard) Quality singing voice and engaging stage presence Experience with worship technology (lighting, sound systems, presentation software, video projection, etc.) Strong relational and leadership skills; team-oriented with a positive attitude Self-motivated with a commitment to excellence Responsibilities Lead the congregation in worship and guide the overall flow of the service Plan the weekly order of service in collaboration with the Senior Pastor and communicate details to the worship and tech teams Lead weekly rehearsals that prepare the team for Sunday services and introduce new music over time Select music for services while seeking input from team members Ensure all technical elements (audio, lighting, projection, stage setup) are prepared and functioning properly Build weekly service plans using Planning Center or ChurchTrac, including slides, media, and announcements Oversee stage design and seasonal aesthetics Recruit, train, and develop musicians, vocalists, and tech team members Develop and manage an annual budget for the contemporary service Actively participate in the life of the church and support its mission and leadership Serve under the guidance of the Senior Pastor Compensation Part-time position: up to 15 hours per week $30 per hour Compensation based on faithful and effective completion of responsibilities How to Apply Please send your resume and cover letter to office@oslcstanwood.
