Wound Care Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis at our nursing home facility. The ideal candidate will provide specialized wound care management, ensuring optimal outcomes for our residents. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care.

Schedule:

Full Time (can be somewhat flexible 8am-4p/9a-5p) Every other weekend (required)

Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care treatment plans for residents. Provide direct wound care treatments and dressing changes. Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and families to ensure coordinated care. Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and care techniques. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of wound assessments and treatments. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

Qualifications:

Current, valid RN license in the state of Georgia. Prior experience in wound care, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing settings. Wound care certification (WCC, CWCN, or similar) preferred but not required. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Why Join Us?
