Wynona Public Schools - Principal Position (2026-2027 School Year) Wynona Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Principal for the 2026-2027 school year. Wynona is a small, rural district located in beautiful Osage County, approximately 30 miles from Bartlesville and one hour northwest of Tulsa. Serving approximately 85 students from Pre-K through 12th grade, Wynona Public Schools offers a close-knit, supportive environment where relationships matter and every student is known. Pay to be determined Position Overview The Principal will serve as the instructional leader of the school, working collaboratively with staff, students, families, and the Board of Education to promote academic excellence, positive school culture, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership in curriculum, instruction, and student achievement Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive school environment Support and evaluate teachers and staff Build strong relationships with students, parents, and community members Oversee daily school operations and student discipline Ensure compliance with state and district policies Collaborate with the Superintendent and Board to advance district goals Qualifications Oklahoma Principal Certification Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience in instructional leadership preferred Commitment to rural education and student success Why Wynona?
