Wrecker Operator

Job Summary Knights Wrecker Service is seeking dependable, motivated, and safety-focused Tow Truck Drivers / Wrecker Operators to join our growing team. We are hiring operators for light-duty rollback trucks, heavy-duty wreckers, and equipment transport operations. In this role, you will respond to roadside assistance calls, accident recoveries, vehicle transport requests, and equipment hauling assignments while providing customer service. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, capable of working in fast-paced environments, and committed to maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate rollback tow trucks, wreckers, heavy-duty recovery vehicles, and equipment transport trucks Recover, load, transport, and unload disabled, damaged, illegally parked, or abandoned vehicles and equipment Secure vehicles and equipment properly using chains, straps, wheel lifts, and other towing equipment Respond to roadside assistance and accident recovery calls in a safe and professional manner Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks on assigned trucks and equipment Complete required paperwork, logs, dispatch information, and incident reports accurately Maintain communication with dispatch, customers, law enforcement, and team members Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures Provide customer service during stressful or emergency situations Keep trucks, equipment, and work areas clean and properly maintained Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required CDL preferred for heavy-duty or equipment transport operators Previous towing, rollback, heavy wrecker, equipment hauling, or commercial driving experience preferred Ability to safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles and equipment Mechanical or automotive knowledge is a plus Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment when needed We are willing to train the right candidate.
