X-Ray Technician/Medical Assistant

Duties Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures Ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed during imaging procedures Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout the process. Review medical histories and relevant clinical information to facilitate accurate diagnostic evaluation. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, images, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and optimal patient outcomes. Skills Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles. Proficiency in operating medical imaging equipment Knowledge of medical physics related to radiation safety standards and dose management during imaging procedures. Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures clearly to patients of all ages while demonstrating compassion and professionalism. Ability to adapt quickly to evolving technology in medical imaging and stay current with industry best practices.

Pay:

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
