Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Radiology Technologist to provide essential imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This is a contract position with a 14-week duration, beginning June 29, 2026, and ending October 2, 2026. The role is structured for 40 hours per week, working Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiology or X-ray Technologist Active ARRT-R certification required Valid BLS certification required Strong command of radiographic techniques and safe imaging practices Excellent communication skills and ability to foster a positive patient experience
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to perform diagnostic Radiologic procedures as ordered Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the exam Review and assess clinical data, confirming appropriate exam selection and patient medical history Prepare the procedure room, ensuring readiness of supplies and equipment Analyze patient anatomy, position patients, and apply proper technique for optimal image quality and patient safety Select and administer intravenous contrast media and monitor for possible reactions when required Practice ALARA and department protocols for radiation safety and infection control Accurately maintain patient records, imaging logs, and electronic records using PACS and RIS systems Assist in orientation and training of new staff or students when necessary This role offers an engaging environment where your expertise will directly impact patient diagnosis and care.
