Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting patient diagnosis by delivering high-quality imaging services. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Radiologic Technologist skilled in both general X-ray and radiology procedures. Your expertise will play a key role in accurately capturing and submitting imaging studies critical to patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position, specific shift hours to be discussed during interview
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Demonstrated skills in general radiology and X-ray procedures Experience operating imaging equipment and related technology Proficient in patient positioning and applying radiation safety protocols (ALARA) Understanding of provider imaging orders and radiographic anatomy Strong communication skills for collaboration with patients, care teams, and radiologists Capability to educate and supervise Student Radiographers as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort Operate all X-ray and imaging equipment, adhering to established protocols Prepare patients for examinations, including safe transfers and explaining procedures Accurately document and submit images and required clinical details for interpretation Coordinate exam scheduling for optimized patient care and department efficiency Evaluate image quality and follow up as necessary to meet clinical standards Maintain sterile technique and comply with infection prevention policies Administer contrast agents per radiologist direction Appropriately manage department supplies and equipment Support a collaborative, proactive departmental environment through open communication This is an opportunity to apply your skills in a setting where patient safety, imaging quality, and professionalism are paramount.
