Work alongside providers and clinical staff who put patients first New Graduate Support Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Technologists hired prior to graduation will work under the indirect supervision of an ARRT-certified diagnostic technologist until degree completion is verified. Candidates must be ARRT registry eligible and obtain radiography registry within three months of hire. Technologists may not work in an outpatient setting until ARRT certification has been obtained. Position Summary The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the imaging process. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures Explain procedures clearly to help reduce patient anxiety and encourage cooperation Use immobilization devices and positioning techniques to obtain optimal images Determine appropriate exposure factors and adjust equipment controls to produce high-quality diagnostic images Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff Process and review images for proper identification and quality control Prepare images for interpretation by the radiologist or requesting physician Complete forms and maintain accurate records, logs, and reports in the electronic medical records system Verify, update, and maintain accurate patient insurance information Occasionally provide coverage at a satellite office, as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or completion of an accredited two-year hospital-based radiologic technology program ARRT Registered or ARRT registry eligible status Ability to obtain radiography registry within three months of hire, if not already registered New graduates welcome; one to two years of prior experience preferred Ability to maintain 24 continuing education credits every two years Strong computer skills; electronic medical records experience preferred Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment A flexible, team-oriented approach Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff Current CPR/AED certification preferred Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
Required Clearances and Certifications :
ARRT certification, as applicable Physical Requirements This role requires the ability to assist patients onto tables and imaging equipment. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and/or help move patients weighing more than 100 pounds with appropriate assistance and safety procedures.  TCWGlobal is an equal opportunity employer.
