Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Yacht Manager / Personal Assistant for a private luxury yacht based in Atlantic City, NJ. This hands-on role focuses primarily on full yacht management and operations, while also providing personal assistant support, event hosting, and housekeeping-style services for the owner. You will manage all aspects of yacht operations and deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate is ambitious, service-oriented, and eager to learn and master yacht management, hospitality, housekeeping, and executive assistance. Prior full experience is not required. This live-aboard position offers a typical schedule of 6 days/week at 8-10 hours/day (hours and days vary with events and time at sea). Expect summer travel to the NY/Hamptons area and winter travel to Miami/Caribbean waters. Responsibilities Oversee yacht operations, including maintenance, provisioning, inventory, compliance, and safety. Plan, coordinate, and host onboard events and guest experiences. Provide executive/personal assistant support to the owner (calendar, travel, correspondence, errands). Perform housekeeping and interior services (cleaning, bed making, laundry, light cooking, and drink service). Manage logistics, vendors, budgeting, and administrative tasks. Deliver flexible, hands-on support as needed. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $2,000 bi-weekly ($52,000 annually). Full room & board, all meals, and vehicle. Six weeks paid vacation, separated into two three-week rotations per year. Requirements Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, hospitality mindset, and professional demeanor. Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and basic administrative tools. Experience in admin support, event coordination, or hospitality (valued but not mandatory in all areas). Willingness and ability to perform housekeeping-style services , including cleaning, making beds, laundry, light cooking, and preparing drinks. Basic deckhand or mate skills (e.g., line handling, docking, boat handling, exterior maintenance, and general seamanship). Comfort on the water; prior boating experience helpful but not required. Valid driver's license and passport preferred. Flexible availability. Positive attitude, discretion, and eagerness to learn. Preferred Qualifications Yachting, steward/stewardess, boat management, or luxury hospitality background. Knowledge of maritime regulations and seamanship. Event planning or bookkeeping experience.
