Schedule:

Sunday - Thursday 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM 10-hour shifts

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Yard Jockey / Yard Hostler to join our team in Jefferson, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving trailers throughout the yard and coordinating with the receiving clerk to ensure trailers are positioned correctly and efficiently throughout the shift. Candidates with a CDL are preferred; however, experienced non-CDL candidates will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

Move dry van trailers throughout the yard safely and efficiently Communicate with receiving staff regarding trailer locations and movements Back trailers into designated dock doors and parking locations Maintain safe operating procedures at all times

Requirements:

Previous yard jockey / hostler experience required Must have experience backing trailers Experience operating automatic transmission vehicles CDL preferred but not required Ability to work a consistent overnight schedule
