Weekends required Job Summary Advantage Equipment Rental & Sales is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Yard Manager to oversee daily operations at our heavy equipment yard in Gardendale, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience with different types of heavy equipment and understand how to safely move, organize, and inspect equipment within the yard. This role is responsible for equipment check-in/check-out, maintaining yard organization, and ensuring equipment is ready for customers, deliveries, and pickups. Basic computer skills are required for tracking inventory and completing operational tasks. Responsibilities Safely move and organize heavy equipment throughout the yard Check equipment in and out accurately Inspect equipment for damage, cleanliness, and operational condition Maintain organized yard operations and equipment staging Coordinate equipment readiness for deliveries and pickups Assist customers and drivers with loading and unloading equipment Keep accurate equipment records using company computer systems Work closely with mechanics, drivers, sales staff, and customers Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Qualifications Knowledge of heavy equipment types and safe operating procedures Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, boom lifts, excavators, or similar machinery preferred Ability to safely maneuver equipment in confined yard spaces Basic computer skills required Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Dependable attendance and willingness to work weekends Driver's license preferred, but not required Preferred Experience Equipment rental industry experience Yard management or logistics coordination experience Familiarity with equipment inspections and documentation Benefits Competitive hourly pay Overtime opportunities Health benefits available Paid time off Career advancement opportunities To apply, contact Advantage Equipment Rental & Sales at [Insert Contact Information].
