20 Job Full Description Yard Man/General Laborer

• $20.

00/HOUR A company in Central El Paso needs a Yard Man. The Yard Manmaintains the cleanliness, organization, and safety of outdoor work areas like construction sites, warehouses, or vehicle depots. Key duties include operating forklifts to move materials, loading/unloading trucks, organizing inventory, performing minor equipment maintenance, and keeping grounds clean, usually in various weather conditions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment-related Duties Receive equipment on yard Monitorthird-party freight companies coming on to and leaving the yard Work withProduct Support Manager and Shop Foreman to set priorities for make-ready of machinery Conduct yard inventory and update hour meter readings Washrack Safely clean machinery using pre-established guidelines for washrack area

• using water hose only, no scraping with equipment Keep washrack area clean and free of debris Perform maintenance on holding tank, etc, as necessary Monitor and perform maintenance to water recycling system and sprinkler functions Parts Warehouse Receive stock Put up stock Clean shelves, relocateparts bins Inventory functions Building and Grounds Upkeep Perform litter pickup daily in the shop, yard and on the grounds Keepcentral area between buildings clear of mud and debris Sweep shop and parts warehouse Minor repairs in the office, warehouse and shop

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

Clerical
