Position Overview This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll split your time between the rental counter and the yard, checking customers in and out, loading orders, and keeping things moving. It's physical work, it's people work, and it's the kind of job where you can see the difference you're making every single day. Key Responsibilities Rental Operations Check customers in and out of rental equipment, including reviewing condition, completing paperwork, and processing transactions Inspect returned equipment for damage and cleanliness; flag issues for repair Keep rental inventory organized, maintained, and ready for the next customer Answer customer questions about equipment availability, use, and rental terms Yard & Lumberyard Load and unload deliveries of lumber, building materials, and supplies Pull and load customer orders accurately and safely Keep the yard clean, organized, and stocked Operate a forklift or other yard equipment (training available if needed) What We're Looking For Dependable , shows up on time and takes the job seriously Able to do physical work: lifting, loading, and being on your feet most of the day Good with people: friendly, patient, and a clear communicator Basic math and computer skills for rental transactions Valid driver's license preferred Forklift experience a plus, but not required: we'll train the right person Experience in construction, hardware, equipment rental, or a related field is helpful but not required Compensation Starting wage of $14/hour actual wage will depend on experience and may be higher or lower.
