We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused Yard Salesman to join our team and help us continue delivering the best experience to contractors, homeowners, and DIYers. Job Summary As a Yard Salesman, you will be the first point of contact for customers in our lumber yard. You'll help customers find the right materials, load and organize product, and ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time. This position requires someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with people, and being part of a fast-paced team environment. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers with product selection in the yard and warehouse. Pull, stage, and load materials for customer pickup and delivery. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely (training provided if necessary). Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard. Work closely with contractors and retail customers to ensure orders are correct. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management. Provide excellent customer service while handling questions, concerns, or returns. Qualifications Previous experience in lumber, building materials, or customer service preferred, but not required. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
