The Fleet and Facilities Yard Worker is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the company yard and facility. This role involves organizing tools and materials, assisting with the movement of fleet and equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe yard environment. The Yard Worker plays a key support role in ensuring readiness for project mobilization across Flare Construction's various divisions. What You'll Do Key Responsibilities Assist with loading/unloading trucks, trailers, and equipment. Move and stage fleet vehicles, small tools, and materials for job mobilization. Clean and maintain yard areas, storage zones, and facility perimeters. Help conduct basic inspections on equipment returning from field use. Support minor facility tasks such as trash removal, signage, and lighting checks. Organize tools, inventory, and equipment under supervision of Yard Lead. Follow all company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. Assist with tracking and logging inbound and outbound materials or equipment. Support mobilization efforts by preparing gear and equipment for job sites. Maintain facility support functions to ensure projects have what they need when they need it. What You'll Bring Preferred Qualifications Basic mechanical or construction knowledge (preferred). Ability to operate light equipment (e.g., forklift, skid steer) a plus. Ability to follow instructions and work safely with minimal supervision. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn. Education & Certifications High School Diploma or GED (preferred). Forklift certification (preferred or willingness to obtain). OSHA 10 Certification (preferred). Valid driver's license (required); CDL preferred but not required. Working Conditions Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. regularly Work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions. Stand, bend, and work in confined spaces for long periods.
