Yard Worker/CDL Driver

Job Overview Join our team as a Yard Worker/CDL Driver. This role combines hands-on yard work with professional truck driving, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight across various routes. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks per OSHA, DOT, and state and federal guidelines and laws. Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, route logs, and inspection reports. Assist in yard operations by helping customers, putting orders together for delivery, maintenance of the yard, and other duties. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery; familiarity with route driving is essential. 1 year CDL experience preferred. Skilled in load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual methods while maintaining safety standards. Knowledge of truck safety regulations and compliance requirements for commercial driving licenses (CDL). Strong physical stamina for yard work tasks such as lifting freight and managing equipment like forklifts. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers effectively. MUST have reliable transportation. Attendance and punctuality is vital in this position.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
