For over 40 years, Wagon Wheel Lumber has proudly served Washburn and the surrounding communities as a full-service, employee-owned lumber and hardware company. We provide top-quality building materials, windows, doors, cabinetry, decking, and more for new construction, additions, and remodels. We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Yard Worker/Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, helping customers, and being part of a close-knit, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload building materials from delivery trucks.
• Assist with driving routes and making on-time, courteous deliveries to customers.
• Perform heavy lifting and handle materials with care.
• Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment (training available).
• Conduct routine checks on vehicles and equipment, report maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with team members to complete yard and delivery tasks efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service both in the yard and on job sites.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus but not required).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Experience in a lumber yard, delivery driving, or construction field preferred.
• Forklift experience or willingness to be trained and certified.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
