Yellowstone Hat Co. is Hiring We're looking for a hard worker to join the crew at Yellowstone Hat Co. in Livingston, Montana. This isn't your typical retail job. We're a custom hat shop, vintage western store, and gathering place for locals, travelers, ranchers, fishermen, musicians, rodeo kids, and people who appreciate things with a little soul. Pay starts at $20 and then commission on sales is added to that. We want someone who's naturally good with people, takes initiative without being micromanaged, has a strong eye for style/details, and can help create the kind of experience people remember long after they leave town. You don't need to know everything about hats yet. You do need to care about people, have good energy, and be willing to learn. What You'll Do Talk with customers and help them find hats, apparel, gifts, and vintage goods that actually fit their style Help shape and customize hats Keep the shop looking clean, organized, and dialed Ring up purchases and help with day-to-day shop operations Restock merchandise and assist with inventory Answer phones, messages, and customer questions Occasionally help with events, hat bars, pop-ups, and creative projects Be part of maintaining the overall vibe and experience of the shop What We're Looking For Friendly, confident, and easy to talk to Good taste and attention to detail Comfortable starting conversations with strangers Reliable and self-motivated Able to move fast while staying organized Retail/customer service experience is great, but personality matters more Must be available some weekends and holidays Bonus if you're into: Vintage clothing, western culture, music, design, photography, rodeo, fly fishing, art, or making cool things.
