Job Description

CAMP JORDAN COUNSELORS
Be A Positive Role Model For Our Camp Kids! Spend The Summer At The Lake! Meals, Room and Board Included We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn, grow, and have memorable summer experiences. If you have a passion for childhood development, fun, and education, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Our Counselors:
  • Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts for campers
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times
  • Assist with organizing and implementing daily schedules and routines
  • Provide guidance and support to campers in their social interactions
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all campers
  • Collaborate with other camp staff to create engaging programs
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of camp facilities
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children is preferred
  • Strong management skills to effectively engage and guide campers
  • First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment
  • Ability to manage behavior challenges and promote positive behavior management techniques
  • Experience in tutoring, babysitting, childcare, or special education is a plus
