Youth Minister Location:
Washington Township, MI, 48094 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Minister to lead and nurture the spiritual growth of our youth community in Washington Township, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Youth Group Minister and a strong commitment to fostering a welcoming and engaging environment for young people. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and lead weekly youth group meetings, activities, and events. Develop and implement programs that encourage spiritual growth and community involvement among youth. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to youth members and their families. Collaborate with church leadership and volunteers to coordinate youth ministry efforts. Facilitate youth participation in church services, outreach, and mission projects. Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding youth activities and progress. Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all youth participants. Qualifications Proven experience as a Youth Group Minister or similar role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to inspire and connect with youth from diverse backgrounds. Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities and events. Commitment to the values and mission of the church community. Relevant education or training in ministry, theology, or youth counseling is a plus.
