Primary Responsibilities

provide teaching and discipleship to Wednesday night youth group (65+ attendance) and Sunday school (12+ attendance), including attending special events, outreach, and recruitment
teach the Bible faithfully and regularly in age appropriate settings
support parents in the spiritual formation of their children
assist in pastoral care for the church at large
plan and coordinate weekly gatherings
oversee events, camps, missions, and discipleships opportunities
invest time and encouragement in students by attending school and community activities and other events in which students are involved
participate in the youth committee for a small rural church (175+ attendance) Requirements
an abiding love for God modeled through prayer and Bible study
a call to youth ministry
some experience in youth ministry
be actively involved in a like-minded church
believe and practice consistents with the most current Baptist Faith and Message
