- The Heather N. Hendrickson Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students enrolled at Virginia Tech Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Students who exhibit good academic standing are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students with an interest in pursuing a career in equine veterinary medicine.

- Attending Virginia Tech Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine
- Seeking a bachelor's, graduate, DVM, or Ph.D.
- Studying veterinary medicine
- Exhibit strong academic achievement
- Preference is given to students with an interest in pursuing a career in equine veterinary medicine.
