Overview

  • The Miss Cherokee Leadership Competition is available to high school graduates or GED recipients who are citizens of the Cherokee Nation and reside on the Cherokee reservation. Students who participate in Cherokee cultural activities, community service, and demonstrate leadership skills are eligible to apply.

Eligibility

  • Reside on the Cherokee reservation
  • High school graduate or GED recipient
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree
  • American Indian or Alaska Native female, and with Cherokee ancestry
  • Participation in community service or leadership
  • Aged 18 to 22
