QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) license in

Early Childhood:

Teacher of Students With and Without Disabilities (PreK-2) Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement required for core academic teachers in Massachusetts Knowledge of child development and early literacy instruction Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive classroom practices preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering equity, belonging, and student success Reports to: Building Principal

Performance Responsibilities:

Provide developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Deliver engaging literacy, mathematics, social-emotional, and play-based learning experiences Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students Utilize assessment data to inform instruction and monitor student progress Implement effective classroom management strategies and routines Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, interventionists, and administration Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and classroom activities Support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of students Participate in professional development, curriculum work, and district initiatives Maintain accurate student records and comply with district and state requirements

Ability to work in a normal classroom, office and school building environment. Ability to move freely about the building to perform duties with staff.
